The Process

Tasked with creating an event concept for an existing brand, I created a music event for one of my favourite brands, A.P.C. I took the time to research the brand, its energy and formed an event idea that felt consistent and natural with the brands existing efforts.

Concept

My research showed that while brands like Bape, Supreme and Stüssy are closely tied to music culture and artists, very few are actively creating space for it or shaping it with intention. The idea behind A.P.C. Music was to reintroduce a quieter, more considered side of music culture. Think low-lit jazz clubs, soft conversation, and a space that naturally brings emerging talent into focus. It was important to approach this with nuance. A.P.C. has always been the quiet cool presence, so the concept had to feel aligned with that sensibility. Understatement, intention and a sense of effortless ease sat at the centre of how this came to life.
